About Us
What We Do
Sampling of activities offered throughout the year:
- Member Socials
- Informational parent meetings (partnering with MS administration)
- Annual Fundraiser Events such as Family Golf Outing or Girlfriend Gala
Scholarship funds are raised through membership dues, fundraisers, and the generous donations from local businesses, alumni and Maine South parents.
Who We Are
The Maine South Parents’ Scholarship Club was founded in 1964. We are a non-profit 501-c3 organization whose purpose is to: 1) Connect, educate and help parents navigate through the stages of Maine South 2) To award scholarships to students in the senior class.
High School is an exciting time for your child, yet can be a time of disconnect as a parent. A great way that parents and guardians can keep educated about the current happenings at Maine South High School is through the Maine South Parents’ Scholarship Club (MSPSC).

We greatly appreciate any donation you contribute and so will the Class of 2025 award recipients!
Who We Help
Scholarships are awarded to deserving graduating students who submit applications with essays and recommendation letters. Students are evaluated on their involvement in the community, clubs, sports, fine arts, employment, etc., and not solely on grades. Scholarships are to be used for expenses at the university/college of the student's choice. Throughout the club’s history, MSPSC has touched the lives of over 1,600 seniors. Last year, 38 students were each awarded a $1,000 scholarship!
